De Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Plus is speciaal ontworpen als perfecte camera voor gebruik met de ATEM Mini reeks. Het is hoge kwaliteit broadcast camera, maar het HDMI ontwerp verwijdert alle dure broadcast aansluitingen zodat deze veel goedkoper is. De HDMI is ongelooflijk krachtig omdat deze het videosignaal verbindt met de ATEM Mini, terwijl op hetzelfde moment camerabediening, tally en de remote record trigger naar de camera wordt gestuurd via dezelfde HDMI-verbinding. Dat maakt het mogelijk om deze camera zeer snel op te zetten voor iedere opdracht.
De Blackmagic Design Studio Camera 4K Plus wordt geleverd zonder lens. Lensmount is MFT.
