De nieuwe N3-s ondersteunt SDI niveau A/B.

Hij is klein en compact genoeg om in je zak te stoppen met een totale afmeting van 100*80*24mm. Hij is uitgerust met een 3G-SDI-ingang en 3G-SDI-lus voor weergave op de monitor tijdens NDI-streaming of 3G-SDI-uitgang tijdens decodering.

Er is een tally-systeem met een groot tally-lampje ingebouwd om aan te geven welke camera in programma of preview is. Het heeft ook een 3,5 mm audio-ingang/uitgang.

De Kiloivew N3 voor 3G-SDI heeft een breed DC-ingangsbereik van 5V tot 18V, zodat hij gemakkelijk gevoed kan worden via USB, een powerbank of de batterij van een camera. Hij kan ook worden gevoed via Ethernet (PoE).

Er wordt een camerabevestiging met schroefdraad meegeleverd voor montage op een camera. PTZ-besturing is beschikbaar via USB naar seriële adapter.
