MAKI Ultra Black is a 4K UHD box camera with 12x optical zoom from BirdDog. In addition to a maximum resolution of 2160p60, it is also equipped with fast autofocus. Even in poor lighting conditions, the high frame rate produces detailed, high-resolution images. The autofocus ensures that fast-moving content is precisely focused and remains sharp. The box camera is therefore popular for eSports and sporting events, live music recordings, church services and similar events.
Like all other BirdDog products, the MAKI is NDI-capable. Thanks to HX3 integration, high video quality can be transmitted with low network utilization. The camera has HDMI, 3G-SDI, USB and Ethernet connections and can therefore be integrated into a wide range of workflows.
It also has intuitive on-board buttons. This means that the zoom and focus can also be conveniently controlled on the device.
The built-in microphone ensures omnidirectional recording with a range of up to 6 meters - and with a noise reduction algorithm.
MAKI Ultra is available in versions with 20x and 12x optical zoom.
